Here is a look at our revised set for The Final Toast. No fancy painted set models this time, but we couldn’t resist at least giving you a peek. You will find this set to be a bit more “traditional,” with Holmes’ room on the left and his brother Mycroft’s club on the right. A lot of the action takes place outside those two rooms, however, and Kurt has solved that issue by allowing the Mycroft walls to move offstage, revealing the dark brickwork behind. One of the things I love about the sets Kurt Walls designs is that they all have some little something that makes them unique. This little something involves an interesting use of stairs, but that’s all I’m going to say. You’ll just have to come see for yourself.
