Auditions for The Salvation of Iggy Scrooge

Our rockin’ holiday musical, The Salvation of Iggy Scrooge, written by Larry Larsen and Eddie Levi Lee and directed by Mr. Eddie Levi Lee himself, will run nine performances, December 4 through December 20, 2009, at Theatre on the Square in Tacoma. Actors please bring a headshot and a brief resume, come prepared with a 1-2 minute monologue, and prepared to sing a cappella.
Times and Locations:
Sunday, Aug 2 and Monday, Aug 3, 2009 6 PM to 8 PM, at Theatre Puget Sound Black Box (in the Center House at Seattle Center)
Tuesday, Aug 4 and Wednesday Aug 5, 2009 6 PM to 8 PM at Theatre on the Square Rehearsal Hall, 9th and Broadway, Tacoma
Callbacks: August 9 and 10, 2009 Theatre on the Square, Tacoma
Characters (stage age appears in parentheses):
Male- (for role of Iggy) (age 35-60)
Male- (age 40-60)
Male- (for roles including Buddy Holly) (age 20-35)
Male- African American (for roles including Bob Marley) (age 25-55)
Male- (for roles including Elvis) (age 25-55)
Male- (age 25-35)
Female- (age 15-20)
Female- (age 20-30)
2 Females- (age 25-50)
All characters have singing roles. Actors who also play guitar, bass guitar, drums, keyboard, brass, or woodwind instruments are strongly encouraged to audition. If you play an instrument, you will only need it for callbacks.
You do not need to be a member of Actor’s Equity to audition.
