We are thrilled to announce our February 2010 musical, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, directed by Resident Director Chris Nardine. Written by Jeffrey Lane with music by David Yazbeck and based on the 1988 hit film, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels tells the hilarious tale of two con men on the French Riviera.

Sunday, Sept. 13 and Monday, Sept. 14, 2009 6 PM-9 PM at Theatre Puget Sound Black Box (in the Center House at Seattle Center)

Tuesday, Sept. 15 and Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009 6 PM-9 PM at Theatre on the Square Rehearsal Studio, 9th and Broadway, Tacoma

Callbacks: Sept. 20 and 21, 2009, Theatre on the Square, Tacoma

Characters (stage age appears in parentheses):

Male (age 40-55) actor, singer, good dance/movement with distinguished, cultured physical style

Male (age late 20’s-35) actor, singer, good dance/movement/physically active, high energy

Female (age 25-35) actor, singer, some dance/movement with sweet innocent look and appeal

Male (age 40-55) actor, singer, some dance/movement with distinguished, businesslike persona

Female (age 45-60) actor, singer, some dance/movement with distinguished, wealthy air

Female (age 20-35) actor, belt singer, good dancer/movement, spunky high energy Southern firecracker

6 Male Ensemble (age 20 and up) singer/dancer/actor

6 Female Ensemble (age 20 and up) singer/dancer/actor

(Ensemble actors may play various roles throughout the show.)

Appointment required. Actors please bring headshot and a brief resume, come prepared with a short monologue, a vocal/ accompanist piece, and be prepared to move or dance.

You do not need to be a member of Actor’s Equity to audition.
