Although rehearsals don’t start until next Tuesday, the production team is already hard at work. We’ve held two big production meetings and many smaller gatherings to discuss all aspects of getting this show on stage. The most recent meeting was at my kitchen table last Sunday, when set designer Greg Carr visited us from Denver to discuss the design. We poured over plans, colors and textures. We amended wall color to accommodate costume choices. Floor levels were changed and stairway construction was planned. Construction begins this weekend, meaning once again we will spend Labor Day hard at work on a set. We’ll have much more to show you next week, but meanwhile, here’s a little shot of Sunday’s kitchen table.
