Streetcar Set Photos
We are so proud of our cast and crew for this production of A Streetcar Named Desire. The production was excellent, and while all cast members did an outstanding job, I would like to put in an extra thank-you for Connie Murray’s riveting portrayal of Blanche. As charge artist, my job during tech rehearsal is to roam the darkened seats in the house, scanning the set for missing paint, raw wood, things that need to be finished, making the list of things to do tomorrow. Night after night, notepad in hand, I found myself completely caught up in the story being told on stage, watching Blanche, and not the set.
Now this play has been “put to bed,” as it were, props and costumes returned, flats back at the shop awaiting the next play. Crew members have regrouped, and some of us are already hard at work on our holiday musical, The Salvation of Iggy Scrooge, which opens December 4th. On closing night we took some archival shots of our actors and the lovely set designed by Greg Carr, and we’d like to share some of them with you here.
