Iggy Update

After one day off to enjoy our families and friends, the cast and crew of The Salvation of Iggy Scrooge was back to work today, getting this wonderful production ready for opening night on December 4th. The cast moves on stage tonight after weeks of rehearsal in the downstairs rehearsal studio. Being on stage is an exciting time for the cast. Finally actors can get used to the platforms on stage and the different acoustics of the bigger space. Broadway Center lead audio tech Jeff Lombardi and his crew were hard at work today making sure all speakers and microphones were in place. Lighting designer Matt Lawrence and our union crew were setting light levels. Props Master Michael Dresdner was loading props on stage. I worked on a little on paint, taped the carpeting under the drums and keyboards, and headed home to work on the puppets.

Puppets, you ask? Yes, puppets. Beyond that, my lips are sealed. You will simply have to come see for yourself.
