Saturday was the first big production meeting for our new musical, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, and what an exciting, high-energy morning it was. Some of us met each other for the first time, and we all got our first peeks at the set drawings. Our set designer for this production is Jason Phillips. A quick [...]
After one day off to enjoy our families and friends, the cast and crew of The Salvation of Iggy Scrooge was back to work today, getting this wonderful production ready for opening night on December 4th. While making sure all actors are safe, he manages to make the fight sequences believable. Any time you see physical violence on stage, keep this in [...]
Last night was a big night for cast and crew of A Streetcar Named Desire. It was our first rehearsal! Our director, Rod Pilloud, asked that production crew be present for the beginning of rehearsal so that all members of this great show could get to know each other. Those production team members who were [...]
Although rehearsals don’t start until next Tuesday, the production team is already hard at work. We’ve held two big production meetings and many smaller gatherings to discuss all aspects of getting this show on stage. The most recent meeting was at my kitchen table last Sunday, when set designer Greg Carr visited us from [...]
