A Streetcar Named Desire

by Tennessee Williams

Set in the French Quarter of New Orleans during the restless years following World War II, this is the story of Blanche DuBois, a fragile and neurotic woman on a desperate search for someplace in the world to call her own. Blanche turns to her sister Stella for safe harbor, but Stella’s husband Stanley is suspicious of Blanche’s abrupt arrival. The two quickly form a volatile rivalry and Stella increasingly finds herself torn between the two. Stanley’s temper and Blanche’s past threaten to tear their relationships apart.

A Streetcar Named Desire will be directed by Resident Director Rod Pilloud.

The Salvation of Iggy Scrooge

Book by Larry Larsen and Levi Lee. Music by Edd Key

A cross between Dickens and a rollicking trip down pop culture memory lane, this is a phantasmagorical evening of irreverent Christmas cheer. Ebenezer is a burned out misanthropic superstar who snarls through Christmas Eve until a top of the charts gaggle of ghosts shows up: rock legends Buddy Holly, Bob Marley and King Elvis come to boogie with Iggy and set his warped values straight. The rock icons cook up a jambalaya of reggae, Cajun, rockabilly and heavy metal numbers in this inventive Christmas offering that reverberates with saucy lampoonery, show stopping tunes and characters that never occurred to Dickens.

The Salvation of Iggy Scrooge will be directed by Eddie Levi Lee

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels

Book by Jeffrey Lane.  Music by David Yazbeck

Based on the 1988 film, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels centers on two con men living on the French Riviera. Suave Lawrence Jameson makes his living talking rich ladies out of their money, and small time crook Freddy Benson swindles women with fabricated stories about his grandmother’s failing health. When they find their small French town isn’t big enough for the both of them, they agree on a bet: the first one to extract $50,000 from heiress Christine Colgate wins, and the other must leave town. A hilarious battle of cons ensues, guaranteed to keep you laughing and guessing right to the end!

Dirty Rotten Scoundrels will be directed by Resident Director Christopher Nardine.
